Child welfare systems are complex, and there are many different programs that are administered through a collaboration between the County, the State and the Federal government. Each of these programs are managed through various levels of program funding and legislative initiatives. All of the programs are designed to promote the well-being of children by ensuring safety, achieving permanency and strengthening families.
